Please introduce yourself and tell us about GoValuta?
My name is Dr. Romeo Rissal. I am an Indonesian, former banker and Chairman of a global telco company. Now, active in digital transformation businesses and am a founding member, CEO and chariman of PT Global Digital Asia, which is the creator of GoValuta.
GoValuta is the first and only online end-to-end service platform that can be used by any licensed money changers in Indonesia.
GoValuta allows licensed money changers to accept online payments via credit and debit cards and in the future e-wallets instead of only traditional cash payments.
2. Why did you start GoValuta in Indonesia?
Secondly, to help customers exchange their foreign currency in a very easy and secure way. We bring money changers into the palm of their hands.
For example, travellers won’t have to go around the city looking for a good money changer just to get money for their shopping. Soon travellers will be able to go to www.govaluta.com and choose the nearest money changer.
3. What is GoValuta’s vision and where are you with respect to achieving this vision?
We want to be the driving force behind the digital transformation of traditional money service businesses in Indonesia.
At this stage we are in the process of socializing the service and educating customers, and money changers of the benefits of adopting an online business model.
4. Why now when the travel sector has been massively hit by COVID-19 globally?

As Jack Ma of Alibaba stated vividly; “If you don’t go online your business will die, and if you don’t go global your business will die”.
So GoValuta provides quality services for the money changers to go digital and go global at the same time.
